It uses a Swedish device powered by a 9mobile SIM card and data to that allow users to track their vehicles remotely on their mobile phones and website.
It also allows you to track your vehicle location and activities from the comfort of your phone, tablet or computer. In addition, the solution also notifies users when their vehicle spare parts are due for replacement, thereby saving cost on expensive maintenance and vehicle break-down. Geo-fencing lets the user set up triggers when a vehicle or fleet enters or exits defined boundaries. Eco-driving supports fuel optimisation. Other features are spare parts replacement, reporting management and instant vehicle demobilisation. The device is available at selected 9mobile stores in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.
The VT Fleet service has a user-friendly monitoring portal, longer battery life, and longer location history. It also allows the customer to track the vehicle’s location and activities from the phone, tablet or computer.
