  • Install using the updated PPA

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/brackets

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install brackets
  • Install Brackets via DEB


sudo apt-get install gdebi


sudo gdebi Brackets.Release.1.11.32-bit.deb


sudo apt-get install gdebi


sudo gdebi Brackets.Release.1.11.64-bit.deb

How to uninstall Brackets from Ubuntu

sudo apt-get remove brackets
